Have you just purchased a human-powered bicycle?

The Metropolis encourages sustainable mobility by instituting a subsidy system for individuals mainly established in the metropolitan area in order to acquire a human-powered bicycle.

Aid of 50% of the purchase price in € including VAT, capped at € 100, is granted.

You thus contribute to the preservation of the environment and public health by actively participating in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions as well as the limitation of noise pollution, as desired by the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis.

Please note that children's bicycles are not eligible.

The metropolitan subsidy cannot be combined with that granted for electric two-wheelers.

Aid of 25% of the purchase price in € including VAT, capped at € 200

Please note that electric kits, electric scooters and gyropods are not eligible.

In the event that the beneficiary is a minor:

The same documents as those set out above are entered in the name and first name of the minor beneficiary.

In addition, the legal representative must:

  1. complete the inserts on the form request, the certificate of honor and the agreement,
  2. countersign these last three documents,

  6. A copy of the electric vehicle registration certificate;

All supporting documents must be in the name of the beneficiary and mention the address of their main residence.

For the scrapped thermal vehicle, the documents to be provided are:

 

  1. A copy of the registration certificate of the old vehicle withdrawn from circulation. The card must have previously been crossed out and endorsed by its holder with the words “sold on…. (date of transfer) for destruction "or" assigned on ... .. (date of transfer) for destruction ", followed by signature (do not encroach on the printed area of ​​the registration certificate);
  2. A copy of the certificate of destruction of the old vehicle (including the declaration of purchase for destruction), in accordance with the Cerfa form n ° 14365 * 01;
  3. If the old vehicle is handed over to an approved demolisher in another Member State of the European Union according to the authorization procedure in force, a certified translation must be attached to the original;
  4. An insurance certificate for the old vehicle, valid on the date of its delivery for destruction or on the invoice date of the new vehicle;
  5. A certificate of non-pledge for the old vehicle, drawn up by the prefectural services, dating less than one month from the date of delivery of the vehicle for destruction.

The owner of the old vehicle is the purchaser of the new vehicle.

The Administration reserves the right to ask the applicant for any document enabling the conditions for the award of the grant to be verified.
