Rugby World Cup 2023

Due to rugby matches at Nice stadium, heavy crowds are awaited on the Lignes d'Azur network on Saturday the 16th of September and on Sunday the 17th of Serpetember 2023. Please plan accordingly.

Lignes d'Azur in Rugby colours !

Lignes d'Azur welcomes you to the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolitan Area for the Rugby World Cup.

  • Wales / Portugal, Saturday the 16th of September at 5.45 pm

  • England / Japan, Sunday the 17th of September at 9 pm

  • Italy / Uruguay, Wednesday the 20th of September at 5.45 pm

  • Scotland / Tonga, Sunday the 24th of September at 5.45 pm

How to get to the Allianz Riviera Stadium?

By tram, from Nice City Center:

  • 5 hours before the match, the special line "Stadium service" (Lignes d'Azur fares) runs from the "Port Lympia" station to "Saint-Isidore" every 3-4 minutes.
  • At the end of the match, the tramway carriages start every 5 minutes from the station "Stade" in the direction of "Port Lympia".

From the Rugby Village, located in Albert Ist Garden

  • First departure of the shuttles from 1:15 p.m for matches at 5:45 p.m and from 4:30 p.m for the match at 9 p.m*
  • The frequency of the shuttles is adapted according to the crowd
  • Returns guaranteed at the end of the match

Itinerary :

Go : Departures are made from the Rugby Village located in the Albert Ist Garden. The shuttles drop off supporters on Simone Veil Avenue.

Return : Departures are from Simone Veil Avenue, towards the Rugby Village located in the Albert Ist Garden.

By car, using the parking shuttles (free)

Red shuttle, car park in the Arboras sector

  • First departure made 4 hours before the start of the match
  • Frequency : a bus every 5 minutes
  • Returns guaranteed at the end of the match

Itinerary :

Go : departure from the "STAPS / Arboras" stop, then Arboras way, Simone Veil Avenue and terminus at the corner of Simone Veil Avenue and Baraques way.

Return : departure from Baraques way, Mercantour boulevard, serving "STAPS/ Arboras" bus stop on Mercantour boulevard, MIN parking entrance.

By train, with the Chemins de fer de Provence line!

You can go to the Nice Stadium with the Chemins de fer de Provence, on days of matches and concerts. Get to the stadium in 15 minutes, departing from the city centre of Nice with Lignes d'Azur tickets and subscriptions!

For the Rugby World Cup matches, reservations are required by phone at 04 97 03 80 80 or at the Nice Chemins de fer de Provence station.
